About Jamie

Jamie graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BA in Art Studio. She continued her education in photography at the University of South Carolina, Midlands Technical College and the New York School of Photography. An enthusiastic photographer, Jamie has been professionally taking pictures since 2000. She has learned through her experience and education that the best way to capture her subjects’ individuality is by combining photojournalism with portrait in a natural and relaxed setting. Jamie takes both color and black and white photos, using film and digital cameras.

Jamie’s photography is on display at Hair Doodles, a hair salon for children on Forest Drive in Columbia, SC, and can be seen in her published book Columbia For Kids. Her work has also appeared in Columbia Metropolitan Magazine and numerous web sites and brochures.
